General Motors introduced the water bag center - the largest U.S. auto company,General Motors, this week introduced a new safety feature ie air bag between the driver and passenger side.
New York Times reported that the air bag is functioning during the side crash. Air bag that inflates and becomes the retaining body and head clash between the driver and passenger side.
If no passenger side air bag that serves to hold the driver's body is shifted tightdue to collisions.
That feature will be installed in SUV Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMCAcadia. There has been no announcement for the installation of that feature inother models.
GM calls their innovation is the first time in the automotive industry. GMdemonstrated that feature in the installation of their test, Milford Proving Grounds,Michigan.
